Regional Values at the Berghotel Predigstuhl
Some places hold a very special history and are just waiting to be rediscovered. For us, the Berghotel Predigstuhl in Bad Goisern is exactly that kind of place. That’s why it quickly became clear to us: this hotel should once again bear its original name, the one many people know, out of respect for its history and the many memories it holds. We are Coleen and Kevin – a couple with a deep passion for hospitality and many years of experience in the national and international hotel industry.
Back to the roots
Having grown up in Bad Goisern, this hotel has been a part of my life since childhood. I was even baptized here, so for me, it’s far more than just a hotel; it’s a place with personal significance. I learned to ski on the slope below the hotel while my parents sat up on the terrace enjoying the view. Many locals from Bad Goisern have similar memories of this place. It is precisely this feeling that we want to recapture. Our goal is to make the Berghotel a place where people enjoy coming together – for our guests as well as for the locals of the region. A place that brings people together and where new memories can be made.

Having grown up in the Allgäu region with Swiss roots, the hospitality industry was practically in my blood from the start. As part of a family of hoteliers, I learned early on what it takes to offer guests not just a stay, but a genuine experience. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to gain diverse experience in the upscale hospitality industry, both aboard ships worldwide and in 5-star hotels in Tyrol and Germany. These experiences have shaped my eye for quality, service, and attention to detail. I have a particular passion for wine. It gives me great pleasure to advise our guests and serve them exactly the right wine to make their moment perfect. At the same time, it is important to me to work with the team to provide service that stands out for its quality, attentiveness, and reliability.
