For us, the day begins with the first light of dawn. Our room rates always include breakfast.
But we don’t just welcome overnight guests: visitors from out of town and locals are also warmly welcome at our breakfast table. You can look forward to a generous buffet featuring a diverse, seasonal selection.

We focus on a small, refined menu featuring select dishes, placing great emphasis on quality. In addition, we offer a daily changing special that provides variety and highlights seasonal ingredients. And to ensure everything pairs perfectly, host Kevin personally curates the selection of wines and beers.

Yes. The restaurant at the Berghotel Predigstuhl is also open to day visitors, hikers, and locals. Whether you’re coming after a hike up the Predigstuhl, a day trip from Bad Goisern, or just dropping by on a whim – you’re more than welcome.
The restaurant is open daily. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 10:30 am, and hot meals are available daily from 11:30 am to 9:30 pm.
With its panoramic sun terrace at an altitude of 1,000 meters, the Berghotel Predigstuhl offers one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Salzkammergut. The unobstructed view of Lake Hallstatt and the Goiserer Valley is truly unique – combined with regional cuisine and select wines.
At lunchtime, we offer a small Alpine-style menu featuring hearty dishes, snacks, and hot meals – perfect after a hike up the Predigstuhl or the Ewige Wand. Our kitchen focuses on regional ingredients from the Salzkammergut and features daily specials.

If you’re looking for a great breakfast in Bad Goisern, the Berghotel Predigstuhl is the perfect place. Breakfast is included for hotel guests. Non-residents can enjoy breakfast from 7:30 am to 10:30 am for €32.50, which includes a hot beverage. Reservations are required.

Host Kevin personally curates a fine selection of wines and beers – perfectly paired with each course and always chosen with the care of a true connoisseur.
