Fully prepared for your vacation
Whether you’re an active couple, a leisure traveler, or just looking for a quick getaway, you’ll enjoy an unobstructed view of the surrounding mountains. To ensure your stay gets off to a relaxing start, we’ve put together all the important details about your booking and our services here.
Arrival and departure
You are welcome to check in on your arrival day starting at 3:00 pm. Of course, you are also welcome to arrive earlier. If you’d like to start your vacation a little early, you’re welcome to store your luggage at the property on your arrival day and go explore the surrounding area.
On the day of departure, please check out by 11:00 am at the latest.
Free parking is available for our hotel guests right in front of the hotel. Non-residents can also park for free if they spend at least €15 in our restaurant.
If you’re traveling by car, take the route through Bad Goisern and continue along Predigstuhlstraße directly to the Berghotel. If you’re traveling by train, get off at the Bad Goisern station. From there, you can easily continue your journey by taxi or, upon request, by shuttle.
During your stay
When you book a stay at the Berghotel Predigstuhl, the following services are included in your stay for free:

Yes, the Berghotel Predigstuhl has an à la carte restaurant where both our hotel guests and outside guests are warmly welcome. The restaurant is open daily from 11:30 am to 9:30 pm.
Yes, we offer a hypoallergenic room at the Berghotel upon request.
You’re welcome to lock your bike up safely with us upon request. Alternatively, you can also take it up to your room.
The mountain hotel offers the perfect setting for weddings and private celebrations amidst the stunning mountain scenery of the Salzkammergut. We’ll work with you to create a celebration that’s uniquely yours and put together a customized package for your special day.
We are happy to provide a crib for babies upon request.
Dogs are welcome here. We have select rooms available for guests traveling with dogs. There is a surcharge of €20 per night per dog, not including food. The price includes a dog bed and a water bowl. A maximum of one dog is allowed per room. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant area (they are allowed on the terrace).
The Berghotel Predigstuhl doesn’t have a traditional spa, but it does offer wellness for the soul: birdsong, restful sleep on the edge of the forest, and plenty of peace and quiet to simply unwind. Here, you can relax surrounded by nature and find respite far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Discounts, cancellation policy & more
Yes, we offer discounted rates for longer stays of 4 or 8 nights or more at the Berghotel Predigstuhl. You can calculate your vacation cost here.
Families are especially welcome here – particularly in our Dachstein and Predigstuhl suites, which are ideal for a family stay. Extra beds are available in select room categories. We are happy to provide a crib for babies upon request.
Prices for extra beds:
- Children up to 5 years old in a crib: free of charge
- Children ages 6 to 15: 35€ per night, including breakfast
- Ages 16 and up: 50€ per night, including breakfast
Prices do not include the local tax. This tax is 3€ per person per night (for guests 16 years of age and older) and will be charged on site.
The following cancellation policy applies to bookings at the Berghotel Predigstuhl:
- Up to 7 days before arrival: free cancellation
- Up to 1 day before arrival: 80% of the booking amount
- On the day of arrival or in case of a no-show: 100% of the booking amount
